The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) created the Homebuyers Report as a cost effective method of minimising the risk to buyers looking to purchase a new property. The survey will detail defects or issues on either the exterior or interior of the property that need to be urgently resolved or may significantly affect the value of the property.
A Level Two Survey (Homebuyers Report) provides the potential buyer with all the knowledge they need to make the right decision before buying a property, giving them the confidence that they are purchasing a sound building with no structural problems. A Red Book Valuation is included as standard together with a reinstatement value for insurance purposes.
